Our The Maltese Falcon chocolate bar is inspired by a scene in which protagonist and private detective Sam Spade interrogates Brigid O'Shaughnessy in his apartment over coffee spiked with brandy. Spade tries to squeeze Brigid for info on the coveted and elusive avian statuette, but her knowledge on the topic is limited. Sam and Brigid’s relationship embody the cat-and-mouse core of this hardboiled novel.
